"“Why Carlson? When we started to search for a new car on-line, Carlson would pay close attention to our questions and would always provide detailed answers and quotes, while other dealerships responded with generic information or quotes that didn't match our request. As we continued to work with Carlson, we were further impressed to find that every Carlson employee we dealt with during our car buying experience was friendly, took ownership, and made every effort to ensure our questions were fully answered and that we understood ALL of the necessary details. Both of us are extremely satisfied with the thoroughness each and every employee exhibited at each step of the process -- before, during, and after our car buying experience. We will certainly purchase from Carlson again in the future.
Why Toyota? We have owned Toyota vehicles for about 13 years and have been very satisfied with their dependability and retained value. Do to our personal experiences and experiences we have witnessed from others, we have grown to expect that a Toyota will outlast many other competitive models, and as a result will retain a higher value. Furthermore, Toyota's customer satisfaction is exemplary -- contrary to the media's recent coverage. About two years ago Toyota extended our 1998 Toyota Tacoma's manufacturer's warranty to cover a potential rust problem with the frame. The warranty was modified as follows: if the frame endures extensive rust within 15 years of the Tacoma's date of manufacture, Toyota will purchase the vehicle for 1.5 times Kelly Blue Book Excellent Condition Retail Value (regardless of the current condition of the vehicle). Well, about four weeks ago Toyota looked at our frame, determined it had extensive rust, and bought the vehicle from us for the exact amount promised -- plus they provided us with a free rental car during the process! I always believe that you should ignore what people say and follow the money -- well, Toyota put their money where their mouth is -- so to speak -- customer satisfaction!!!
Would we recommend Carlson Toyota to our friends and family? The short answer is YES.” "

" “We want to thank Carlson Toyota for all the work they have done on our two Toyotas--a 2003 Camry and a brand new 2010 Corolla. The quality of service, their prompt return of the serviced vehicle, and the courtesy of their personnel is outstanding! We are forever grateful to Carlson Toyota for such great service. Scott Backman, the Master Assistant Manager, has been especially helpful to us whenever we had to have work done on our cars--whether it was just a routine oil change or some other minor problem (which are far and few between). Carlson Toyota has been the best. We can rely on them for any work that needs to be done. Our thanks to Toyota Carlson and their staff!”"

"“My wife and I truly appreciate the service department at Carlson Toyota! We bought our first Toyota 17 years ago (a 1994 Corolla) and it's still running strong thanks to the quality service we receive at Carlson. We've since purchased a second Toyota (a 2005 RAV).With both vehicles we feel we get professional advice as to the maintenance that needs to be done, yet we never feel pressured to do service that the cars don't need. And with Mike, as well as the rest of the service technicians, we trust that the work requested will indeed be done. We thank Jeff, Scott, Mike and the entire service department. They understand the elements of good customer service and that is why we keep coming back to Carlson. We definitely feel our cars are in good hands - hands we can trust!”"

" "For over 13 years, I have been a well-satisfied customer of Carlson Toyota. In purchases of both used and new vehicles, and in use of the service department, I have been treated fairly and respectfully by knowledgeable and friendly staff.""
""Carlson Toyota is proof positive honest, service oriented car dealerships still exist. I was referred to them by a neighbor after I had a negative experience at another Twin Cities Toyota dealership. I own a 2001 Corolla I purchased in my former hometown Chicago. Since arriving in MN, I have had any routine maintenance issues addressed at a local garage after being overcharged and underserviced at the Toyota dealership by my new home. Recently, I experienced a problem that was far from routine, and I decided to take my neighbors' advice try Carlson Toyota. Scott Backman, a customer relations manager for Carlson, took control of my case. While Steve Keeney, a master mechanic, diagnosed my problem, Scott researched my Toyota service history record. since purchasing the car I had religiously followed the owner's manual for maintenance and, until recently, primarily with Toyota dealerships. Unfortunately the car required repairs that at only 55,000 miles just didn't make sense - especially after how I had maintained the vehicle. Scott present my case to Toyota, and worked on my behalf. He was able to negotiate a repair of my Corolla with Toyota - they agreed to split the cost of parts with me and I would be charged no labor! Needless to say I was absolutely thrilled! I have been a loyal Toyota patron for years, having owned a Toyota pick-up before my car. In the past, however, my loyalty has been primarily based on the performance of their vehicles. I now have a dealership to believe in as well - Carlson Toyota.""

"“Just want to say thanks for the wonderful job you did selling me my first Toyota. I am so pleased with it and never felt being pushed into buying a new car. You did a terrific job going over every aspect of my Yaris. I never felt uncomfortable asking you questions which were perhaps dumb at times. Enjoyed our conversations while waiting for various aspects of buying a car were completed. Thanks again for a very pleasant car buying experience.
Enjoyed meeting all the people involved with Carlson Toyota. They were all very warm and welcoming. I will definitely recommend Carlson Toyota to all my friends-----especially Adam Morris.”"
